Is the site suitable for children  ?

The Glamping site is in the middle of a rural village and while there aren't any facilities such as a play area on site, there are numerous tourist attractions within a half an hour drive of the site.  There is 1.5 acres of land on the site although we do not allow games of football or other similar games so as not to annoy other campers on site.  We are a quiet policy site and welcome people wanting a quiet getaway.

Do you allow dogs in all of the Pods and Wagons  ?

We do allow dogs in all of the Pods and Wagons with no restriction within reason on the numbers.  All dogs on site must be kept under control at all times.

Do you allow tents or campervans on site ?

We do not have a licence for tents or campervans so regrettably do not allow them on site.

Do the 2 local pubs in the village serve food and are they dog friendly  ?

The Blue Bell and the Star Inn both serve excellent food.  The Star Inn is dog friendly and is happy to accept well behaved dogs.

Can we have a campfire and bring our own BBQ   ?

We have 3 firepits on site and all open fires must be n the fire pits.  We do not allow any portable fire pits anywhere else on site for safety and insurance reasons.  All campfires must be extinguished by 10.30pm at the latest.  You are able to bring your own BBQ or borrow the Glamping site BBQ but all BBQs must be in the BBQ or firepit areas.  Gas BBQs must never be used within 6 metres of any of our pods/wagons or the amenity block.

Are there local dog walks in the area  ?

There is a public bridleway which runs straight from the Glamping site along which you can get stunning views of the village from the top of the hill.  The closest sandy beach is approx. 15 minutes drive away and you will find numerous walks recommended in a file in the communal kitchen for you to try.
